  • 1/2 cup Speculoos Spread
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese (softened)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Mix well, then add warmed milk, softened butter, and eggs. Mix until combined.
  2. Knead the Dough: Transfer to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. First Rise: Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 1 hour until doubled.
  4. Roll It Out: Punch down the dough, then roll it into a rectangle about 12×18 inches.
  5. Spread the Speculoos: Heat the speculoos spread and spread it evenly on the dough.
  6. Sprinkle the Cinnamon: Mix cinnamon with sugar and sprinkle over the speculoos layer.
  7. Roll It Up: Tightly roll the dough into a log.
  8. Cut Into Rolls: Slice the log into 12 equal pieces.
  9. Second Rise: Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let them rise for 30 minutes.
  10. Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Make the Glaze: Beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and a splash of milk until smooth.
  12. Glaze and Serve: Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls and serve immediately.
