Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet Pre-made Puff Pastry
  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese (preferably low-fat)

  • 1 tsp Lemon Zest
  • 1 egg, beaten

  3. Cut the puff pastry into squares (about 4×4 inches).
  4. Place 1-2 tablespoons of filling in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Fold the corners towards the center or fold over to create triangles and seal.
  6. Brush each pastry with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden and flaky.
  8. Cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and enjoy!

Notes

You can freeze unbaked pastries and bake them directly from the freezer, adding a couple of minutes to baking time.
