Description

Delightfully spooky Mummy Brownies perfect for Halloween gatherings, combining rich chocolatey flavor with festive decoration.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • Candy eyes for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl until just melted.
  3. Mix the melted butter with granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing in vanilla extract.
  5. Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients gently until no dry flour is visible.
  7. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly fudgy.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift out and allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
  10. Decorate with melted white chocolate chips to create “bandages” and place two candy eyes on each brownie.
