  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed

  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Halloween-themed sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for a couple of minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
