- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla)
- 1 cup cherries (fresh or frozen)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs
Instructions
- Prepare the cherries by rinsing fresh ones and cutting them in half, or thaw frozen cherries.
- Make the base by combining Greek yogurt, cocoa powder, protein powder, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract in a bowl and stirring until smooth.
- Layer the yogurt mixture and cherries in jars, repeating layers until filled.
- Top with dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs and a dusting of cinnamon.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Jars can be made ahead of time and last in the fridge for up to three days. Optional garnishes include fresh mint leaves and whipped cream.
