Description

A delightful and nutritious twist on the classic creamsicle, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 orange, juiced and zested
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup granola
  • Fresh fruit for topping (like blueberries or raspberries)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base Layer: In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, orange juice, orange zest, protein powder, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Whisk vigorously until well blended and creamy.
  2. Taste Test Time: Take a tiny taste and adjust sweetness with more honey or syrup if needed.
  3. Assemble the Jars: Layer the creamy yogurt mixture at the bottom—about half of the jar should be filled with this mixture.
  4. Granola Crunch: Sprinkle in an even layer of granola.
  5. Repeat the Layers: Add another generous layer of the orange yogurt mixture, followed by a final layer of granola and fresh fruit on top if desired.
  6. Chill and Serve: Pop the jars into the fridge for a bit to set.
  7. Enjoy and Delight: Stir everything up and enjoy each bite!

Notes

These jars can be meal-prepped and stored in the fridge for 2-3 days. Skip the granola until ready to eat for crunchiness.
