- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
- 1 ¾ cups Granulated Sugar
- 2 Eggs

- Food Coloring
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the dry ingredients: combine flour, baking soda, and baking powder in a large bowl.
- Cream together butter and sugar in another bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
- Combine the flour mixture with the butter mixture until just combined.
- Add in chocolate chips and any desired extras.
- Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them out.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and center is slightly underbaked.
- Decorate cooled cookies with melted chocolate and candy decorations.
