  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • Halloween-themed sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan by greasing and lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  4. Mix the melted butter with the granulated sugar until well combined.
  5. Add in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  6. Combine the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  7. Incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  8. Fold in the chocolate chips, if using.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  11. Cool and decorate with Halloween sprinkles.
  12. Cut into squares and enjoy!
