Description

Crispy and delicious oven-roasted pumpkin fries, a healthier alternative to traditional fries, perfect for a snack or side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Medium Fresh Pumpkin (or butternut squash)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
  • Fresh Thyme or Rosemary (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the pumpkin by slicing it in half, scooping out the seeds, and cutting it into fry-shaped sticks.
  3. Toss the pumpkin fries with olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, cinnamon, and chili powder in a bowl.
  4. Spread the fries in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Let them rest for a few minutes after baking.
  7. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispiness, ensure fries have some space on the baking sheet. Enjoy them with a tangy yogurt dip for enhanced flavors.
