- 1 cup Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 large Egg
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 2 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
- 20 pieces Almonds
- Powdered Sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl until creamy and pale.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract; beat until combined.
- Mix in the dry ingredients until just incorporated.
- Shape the dough into finger shapes, about 3-4 inches long.
- Add an almond into the flattened end of each cookie.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
