Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 12-cup cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  3. Mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Combine the eggs, oil, buttermilk, and vanilla in another bowl and whisk until smooth.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  6. Scoop the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
