For the Cake:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

1 cup buttermilk (or milk + 1 tbsp lemon juice/vinegar)
For the Butter Glaze:

1/3 cup unsalted butter

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 tbsp water

2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

Prep: Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan thoroughly.

Cream: Beat butter + sugar until light and fluffy (3–5 min).
