- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain)
- 1 cup chocolate chips (dark, milk, or white)
Instructions
- Cream the butter and sugars in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla, and beat until combined.
- Incorporate the Greek yogurt until just combined.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet mixture.
- Add chocolate chips and mix until just combined.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Scoop rounded tablespoons onto a lined baking sheet, leaving room for spreading.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack before indulging.
