  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter gently in a saucepan over low heat.
  3. Mix the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined, then add the eggs one at a time.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and stir it in.
  5. Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt into a separate bowl.
  6. Combine the dry mixture with the wet mixture, stirring gently.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  8. Scoop the dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for about 10-12 minutes until the edges are set.
  10. Let them cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes.

Notes

For a chewy texture, underbake slightly and let cool on a wire rack for the best results.
