It’s quick, cozy, and guaranteed to become a new favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta (or penne, rigatoni, fettuccine)

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter version)

  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

  • Optional: red pepper flakes, chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta – Boil in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.

  2. Brown beef – Heat oil in skillet, cook beef until browned, drain excess fat if needed.

  3. Sauté garlic – Add garlic, cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant (don’t burn!).

  4. Make sauce – Stir in cream and Parmesan. Simmer 3–5 minutes until creamy. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Combine – Toss pasta into skillet, adding reserved pasta water if needed to loosen.

  6. Serve – Top with extra Parmesan, parsley, and a pinch of red pepper flakes.

Notes

  • Add spinach and sun-dried tomatoes for freshness.

  • Swap beef with turkey, chicken, or sausage.

  • For extra depth, sauté mushrooms with the beef.

  • Want a spicy kick? Stir in tomato paste and chili flakes.
