Description

Hey kitchen friend—Olivia here, and I’m about to help you rewrite everything you thought you knew about Brussels sprouts. These golden-crisp beauties are roasted to perfection, then tossed in a creamy, spicy-sweet Bang Bang sauce that has officially converted sprout skeptics (looking at you, nephew Leo). Perfect for gatherings, game nights, or sneaky fridge raids, this 8-serving recipe doubles the flavor and fun. Let’s turn “evil cabbages” into crave-worthy bites!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

  • 2 tbsp olive or avocado oil

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

For the Sauce:

  • 4 tbsp mayo (or vegan mayo)

  • 4 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)

  • 4 tbsp sweet chili sauce

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • Optional: 1 tsp sesame oil for depth

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Toss sprouts with oil, salt, and pepper.

  3. Arrange cut-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet (or two).

  4. Roast 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until crisp and golden.

  5. Mix sauce in a large bowl while sprouts roast.

  6. Toss roasted sprouts hot in the sauce. Serve immediately for peak crunch!

Notes

  • Keep space between sprouts to crisp, not steam.

  • For Bacon Bliss, add ½ cup crispy bacon to the sauce.

  • Make ahead: Roast, refrigerate, reheat at 400°F, then sauce.

  • Air fry option: 400°F for 12–15 mins, shaking halfway.

  • Prep Time: 10 mins
